PARIS, SECOND HALF OF THE 19th CENTURY Pair of large flat-bottomed tapered porcelain vases. Polychrome rotating decoration, on a white background, on the body of flowers - one of tulips, lilacs, poppies and English roses - the other with dahlias, hollyhocks, alstroemeria and irises. The base and neck are adorned with gilded friezes of foliage and fleurons or grecques. H. 71.5 cm - Width 30 cm. A few flush open bubbles and two long cracks at the shoulder of each vase, some wear to the decoration and gilding. Minor chips.
