The hinged lid centers a knotted oval medallion featuring a miniature bust of a young woman in a blue dress, probably brought in. The profile is adorned with four sheathed pilasters with garlands and piasters, and four trophies with globe or watering can, or flower or fruit baskets, on a grained background. The reverse is decorated with a music trophy.
