PIEFORT, Sucr, Fabrique d'Horlogerie & Boîtes à musiques, Passage Vivienne 23 , Paris". - one indicating three tunes "La Parisienne - Aul de Senegné - Valse de la Gazalaidin [sic]". - one indicating "Silence - à volonté - changement d'air". Oil: 89 x 108 cm - Frame: 109.5 x 128 cm - Box thickness: 12.5 cm - Total thickness: 18 cm. Cracking, lifting and missing parts, both on the canvas and on the dial; scratches, rubbing and restorations to the canvas. Parts of the mechanism missing, such as gong, pulleys with release cord, etc.; play on the back panel. Large gilded frame in molded wood and molded plaster, decorated with eagles in the spandrels (some wear, dents and missing parts).
