ENTOURAGE OF PIER FRANCESCO MOLA (1612-1666) Roman countryside. Oil on panel. 46 x 95.8 cm. In a letter dated December 10, 1985, addressed to the previous owner, Professor Marcel Roethlisberger, on the basis of a photograph, considered this 17th-century Italian landscape "worthy of interest" as part of "the estate of Annibale Carracci (...) in particular the entourage of Pier Franeco Mola".
