FREEMASONRY The saucepan game Large broadsheet game on paper Paris, Imprimerie Munier, signed "Bruno" and dated 1905, left. 55 x 70 cm Freckles and stains. Marketed from 1905, "Jeu de la casserole" is an anti-Masonic game in thirty-three squares, illustrated with caricatures. The title was inspired by the early 20th-century "affair of the saucepans" or "affair of the fiches". It should be noted that some copies, including ours, indicate in the bottom right-hand corner "on sale at the Antisémite bookshop 48 rue Vivienne", which clearly shows the deliberate confusion between Freemasonry and Judaism.
