A week in Peru to discover the Quechua communities of the lower Andean valleys and upper Amazonia

The GoodPlanet Foundation has been supporting agro-ecological transition projects in South America for several years, particularly in Peru and Ecuador.

Agroecological practices help to meet the challenges posed by climate hazards and droughts, which are particularly acute for peasant populations in the Andean valleys and upper Amazon of southern Peru (Quechua communities).
The Foundation is currently strengthening its portfolio of projects in the region. In this context, you will accompany an expert on a follow-up mission to our partners in the field (a Peruvian NGO based in Cusco) and beneficiaries (families from farming communities).
You'll be able to work alongside local players to understand the local environmental, economic and social issues to which the Foundation is responding, through the development of intervention strategies co-constructed with local partners.

The package includes :
One week in Peru, in the Cuzco region, accompanied by one of the Foundation's experts, a specialist in the region.
Meetings with partner NGOs, field visits to beneficiary populations (agro-ecological projects)
Discover the cosmovision of the Quechua populations of the Andes and upper Amazon region
Visits to pre-Columbian cultural and archaeological sites
Transport included from Paris + accommodation + local transport (internal flights and travel to project sites)
