White enameled dial, hour markers with Roman numerals for the hours and dots for the minutes, painted black. Mechanical movement with fusee and chain, and key winding. Partially chased rinceaux plate, signed "Ja.s Ashley, London" and dated "1787". Box maker's mark [I.L], guarantee mark [Lion passant], London mark [leopard's head], date mark [l] for 1786 and mark of Sovereign George III. Gross weight: 89 g. - Diameter: 4.6 mm. Without box. Old modification to the bottom of the case, gilded interior. Movement to be revised. Scratches from use.
