A cabriolet-style shepherd's chair, in molded wood, gilded and carved with pearl necklaces and leaf friezes, cordonnets holding falls of laurel leaves. Wrap-around back with fluted, filleted uprights and rows of pearls. Baluster-shaped armrests with twisted flutes, resting on four fluted and filleted legs. Louis XVI style. Polychrome velvet fabric decorated with stripes, some with flowers (wear). 96 x 62.8 cm. - Seat depth : 56 cm. Wear, chips and gilding. Minor restorations.
