FRANCE, partly early 20th century A pair of small gilt bronze and brass flower vases, with a body featuring twisted lines of pearls on a ringed pedestal, resting on a square cushion and a white marble base with corner protrusions. The neck is highlighted with fluting and pearls, and one of the stems contains leaves. The ends of the threaded stems probably support binnets to form torches. These binnacles have been replaced by faceted or drop-shaped colorless glass flowers. Composite. H. 30 cm. Worn, missing, chipped and small chips. ATTACHED: An alcove oeil-de-boeuf cartel, in reduction, in gilt brass and bronze, with garlands of flowers. Laurel-chased suspension ring and easel. White enameled dial, signed "FONTAINE", hour markers with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals and scale for the minutes. H. 12 cm - Diam. 8.5 cm. Large chip glued to dial
