Rectangular cassonne jewelry box in sheet brass decorated with garlands of roses, scrolls, foliage and a frieze of leafy fluting, standing on four small pallet feet. The lid is centered with an oval miniature depicting a gallant scene in a park, with a lake view. Signed lower center. Interior lined with yellow-orange velvet (worn).
