FRANCE, first quarter of the 19th century Round pill box in (750) rose and yellow gold, with lids and base centered on a large medallion with a striated wavy background, framed by scrolls on a grained background. The molded profile is adorned with wavy friezes. The lid is later engraved "RC". Traces of Master's hallmarks: A.M. (?). Foil stamped with a rooster's head [only crest visible] and repunched with an owl. Weight: 25.2 g. - H.: 1.2 cm - Diam. 4.2 cm. A few scratches and small dents; small defect on the reverse side of the lid, its upper part partly detached, to be reattached to the strapping.
