Louis XVI style ormolu mantel set including : - Bollard clock featuring a large fluted covered vase underlined by plant garlands and topped by a bouquet in bloom, flanked by two putti with attributes of the liberal arts resting on a stepped base supported by scrolled feet. White enameled dial, hour markers with Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic numerals for the minutes and blue railway markers. Mechanical movement with key winding. Blade suspension. 47 x 51 x 13 cm. - A pair of five-armed, six-light candelabra decorated with putti depicting the liberal arts, seated on fluted column shafts, the arms openworked with acanthus scrolls and topped with a lighted torch. H. 62 cm. - Diameter: 28 cm. Second half of the 19th century. Gilding worn, dial cracked and slightly chipped, movement glass cracked.
