EASTERN IRAN, Nishapur, 10th century Four jasper-decorated ceramic bowls on pedestals: - one with green mottled decoration, - one with engraved yellow, brown and green mottled decoration, - one with green drips, the center decorated with a later-painted bird, - one with stylized trees and a blue-green central motif. Diameters: 11 cm, 19 cm (x2) and 17.8 cm - H.: 4 cm, 5 cm, 8.5 cm and 7.5 cm. The first intact, the other three broken and glued back together, numerous restorations.
