Cage guard with multiple branches and cruise with central shield engraved with a fish on one side, meeting in three branches and two quillons ending in pinecones engraved with foliage. Snake-head pommel attachment. Twisted spindle in iron chain and pommel chased and engraved with zigzag. Old two-edged straight blade with central ridge and gutter marked "Pietro Herman...". Heel engraved with a tower on both sides. Reassembled. Blade length: 98.5 cm - Total length: 115 cm. Without scabbard. As is. Wear and scratches; one side of the cruise center shield is missing; a few stains and minor oxidation pitting.
