CAUCASUS, late 19th century Kindjal dagger. Carved white bone plate handle with escutcheon pommel and two-lug guard. Teton rivets on cut-iron plates, decorated with gilded fillets. Straight, two-edged blade with four central gutters, framed on one side with gilded foliage. Blade length: 27.3 cm - Total length: 38.5 cm. Without scabbard. As is. Wear to decorations; some cracks, scratches and small chips to bone plates; some old oxidation cleaned up.
