FRANCE, late 19th or early 20th century Architectural cartel with four Corinthian columns, in solid blackened and veneered wood with pewter fillets and ormolu ornaments, such as capitals, bases, feet, lambrequin, cartouche with consoles, mouldings, balustrades, fire pots... Ring-shaped brass dial with blackened hour markers, Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes. Mechanical movement with key winding, striking, Valet suspension, plate signed "H & F Paris" for HOUR and FORIN, associated from 1890. Louis XIV style. H. 53 cm. Door warped, some lifts and accidents and some missing parts, notably the moldings; columns to be refixed.
