The rounded profile is adorned with a frieze of foliage and scrolls on a grained ground. Hinged lid with en suite chased lip. Goldsmith's hallmark: Simon-Achille LEGER, goldsmith active in Paris between 1817 and 1826, specialized in boxes and objets de vertu.
