Composite ormolu pedestal table consisting of several elements from different periods: - from the replacement of a part, probably from above, formed of three children in leafy terms on a circular molded base, decorated with friezes of florets and scrolls or water leaves. Base signed THOMIRE in Paris. - a molded basin with an openwork frieze of foliage and fountains framed by swans, a frieze of leaves and a ribbon decorated with mollette, with a pomegranate on an openwork plate of long leaves and scrolls; - a circular crown decorated with scrolls, flowers and rosettes. - a hoop adorned with a frieze of ivy leaves and rosettes (one thimble loose, three bolts missing), on an iron cross; - three clawed legs and a circular counter-socle with three projections; - a late sea-green marble circular top and stepped plinth with three steps. Reassembled in the late 19th or early 20th century. H. 61 cm - Diam. 64.2 cm. Some cracks to the children; some wear and scratches; chips, small chips and restorations to the marbles.
