ODIOT, in Paris Silver mustard pot (950) in the shape of a dolphin supporting a conch with hinged lid, topped with a coral branch, set on a scrolled base decorated with a frieze of interlacing and cabochons and punctuated with acanthus leaves, resting on four scrolled feet. Base engraved with the Gothic numeral D.F. in a rocaille cartouche. Gilded inside lid. Removable gilded silver (950) lining. Hallmark [O and lampe à huile] used between 1826 and 1894, and silversmith's signature. - Minerve hallmark. PARIS, between 1838 and 1894. Total weight : 357 g. - H.: 16 cm.
