Horn butt with brass filigree. Single-edged blade, two wide hollow sides and two gutters under flat back, marked "Mre d'armes de Châtt, Mars 1873, Adjt d'Infre, Mle 1845". Blade length: 77.3 cm. - Total length: 91 cm. Without scabbard. Wear to the gilding; a few cracks to the horn spindle, some filled; blade repolished, with old traces of oxidation.
