Wear to black paint, some oxidation; electrification to be reviewed. In an orange-stained wooden case with handle on the front (too large). On the reverse of the lid, Georg HECHELMANN certification label for sextant no. 26976. 14 x 22 x 22 cm. Stains and oxidation, scratches, bumps and a few chips from use. The certificate seems to correspond to the sextant, but placed in a later box.
