Beautiful choker necklace in yellow gold (750), formed of two adjoining lines of flat braided mesh, punctuated with navette motifs shouldered by accolades. The central motifs are paved with small rose-cut diamonds and hold seven faceted drop-cut amethysts in a tumble, topped with a white cultured pearl and a corolla punctuated with small rose-cut diamonds. Ratchet clasp concealed in a motif. Second half of the 19th century. Goldsmith's hallmark: R&M for Claude Rey & Pierre Moureaux, 26 rue Croix des Petits Champs, 1857-1869.
