Brass hilt with three branches decorated with laurel leaves, and short-tailed cap figured "P.C". Blackened horn buttstock with iron filigree. Curved, single-edged, flat-back blade, signed and dated "7bre 1916", with two hollow sides and counter-edged tip. Sheet-iron scabbard with one strap and one ring. Brown canvas and leather sheath. Blade length: 84.5 cm - Total length: 104 cm. A few scratches and small knocks from use; a few small chips to the spindle; some oxidation to the blade and more to the scabbard; wear and a few tears to the sheath.
