FRANCE, seconde moitié du XIXème siècle Flobert-type rimfire pistol. Octagonal barrel in nickel-plated steel. Smooth. Cal. 6 mm. Nickel-plated steel trim, trigger guard with finger rest. Long barrel plates in translucent blond horn. Barrel length: 10.7 cm - Overall length: 18.7 cm. A few scratches and minor wear, notably on the hammer crest; oxidation on the barrel. In a brown wood, burl or rosewood veneered English-style case with brass cartouche on the lid, lined with chamois suede with accessory (cleaning rod and bullet box, empty). Stains, scratches and knocks from use; lid warped. Similar pistols were produced by LEPAGE MOUTHIER FAURE. However, ours has no signature.
