Officer-type pistol. Percussion rear plate on capsule, engraved with scrolls, ornate hammer en suite. Octagonal damascus barrel, burnished, hairline scratches. Cal. 12 mm. White polished breech engraved with scrolls. Short walnut barrel with squared stock and shell-carved barrel nose. Knob numbered 2 10986. Silver-plated metal escutcheon thumbpiece. Cut-iron fittings with leaf-engraved trigger guard and domed oval pommel cap. Second half of the 19th century. Barrel length: 25 cm - Overall length: 39.5 cm. Scratches and minor knocks from use; barrel break previously glued back with filling, a few small chips; some oxidation to metal parts.
