Chased bronze three-bank guard decorated with laurel leaves, with long-tailed cap adorned with a cartouche (virgin), olive branches and a palmette. Shuttle-shaped mumps decorated in relief with a heliotrope flower, and a curved quillon with branches on one side. Leather-covered wooden spindle. Curved blade with a small cutting edge and a round back, two hollow sides and a counter-edge, partially engraved, gilded and blued, with a decoration of a Turk's profile, trophies and crescent moons on a grained background. With an artillery officer's saber scabbard in sheet metal with two round bracelets decorated with crossed cannons and a pile of cannonballs or grenades on a radiating background, and bearing two fluted pitons with rings. Blade length: 82.5 cm - Total length: 98 cm. Wear, a few scratches and bumps; small hole at the cap; wear to the blade decoration; scabbard torn and pierced near the stinger and some oxidation.
