Small cylinder desk in solid molded or veneered mahogany, plain or speckled, and oak, with quarter rounds and brass fittings, opening with nine tiered drawers, either in the waistband, or uncovered by the cylinder, with the mobile shelf darkened in green-black grained leather, gilded with small irons, and resting on four tapered legs. Discreet ormolu trim, including key escutcheons, leafy hooks, draw knobs on radiating plates and sabots. Sainte Anne gray marble top bordered by a gallery of pearl and draped friezes with gilded brass tassels. Late 18th century. H. 110 cm - Length 107.5 cm - 51.5 cm.
