Very large model of a spurred, mixed sail and steam, twin-screw, thirteen-gun battleship flying the French flag, probably "Le Richelieu". Partially painted wood, metal, rope and canvas. Early 20th century. Presentation cradle. 98.5 x 119 x 38 cm. Some wear, minor accidents; sails heavily worn, stained and pierced with missing parts; rudder to be refastened. Restorations. The battleship "Richelieu" launched at Toulon in 1873, commissioned in 1876, and active until 1900.
