Very large ormolu candelabra in the form of a vase on a circular pedestal with a laurel torus on the leg, containing a bouquet of nine twisted flower stems emerging from the leaves, forming an arm of light. The plain cylindrical body is adorned with friezes of gadroons, olives and interlaced foliage, with two heads of women in diadems and two handles with children's heads. The circular base has a cut-out plinth and four square quarter-leaf risers, decorated with a frieze of gadroons. Regency style, late 19th or early 20th century. Formerly electrified, with pierced arms at bud level. H. Height : 92 cm. - Width: 43 cm. Posterior central threaded rod, worn, to be revised to maintain the axial light arm. Wear, a few scratches and minor oxidation to the gilding.
