Solid, veneered mahogany pedestal table with circular top on baluster-turned shaft on truncated-triangle base with curved sides. Rich ormolu trim, such as openwork arcature frieze and pearl necklace, lingotière decorated with leaves, circular ring and base with ove, dart or gadroon frieze. Probably reassembled. Second half of the 19th century. H. 68.4 cm - Diam. 70.5 cm. Wear to the gilding; scratches and rubbing, particularly to the shaft; a few stains.
