A violin-shaped coffee table decorated in brass and tortoiseshell marquetry, with a red background, (Chelonioidea spp) (pre-Convention) of cartouche, foliage scrolls, some with chimera heads, palmettes and flowering vases, and blackened wood veneer borders, opening with a drawer in the waist, resting on four cambered legs. Rich bronze trimmings, partially dedoried, including a leaf and gadroon frieze lingotière, shell frieze frames, female head and mirror shafts, brake covers, clogs, applied masks of women or bearded men.
