Pair of chairs in molded and carved mahogany with a fluted column back and an openwork motif of a lyre centered on a miller's shovel (?), with horseshoe-shaped seats resting on four tapered and fluted legs. Rubbing; numerous chips to the flutes of the columns and legs; accidents, missing parts and restorations, especially to the backs; reinforcing brackets. An armchair with a rectangular mahogany back, with the same back, stamped by Georges Jacob and the marks of the Garde meuble de Trianon, is kept at the Mobilier Nationale.
