A chased ormolu and white marble clock decorated with Venus holding out her arm to a putti on clouds and caressing a dove; the clock arched with a garland of flowers and resting on an oval base with a slight central projection decorated with a frieze of quatrefoils. White enamelled dial, signed BRIANT in Paris, indexes painted in black Roman numerals for the hours, railway and Arabic numerals for the minutes.
