Amazing articulated necklace in yellow and white gold (750) with a fancy chain link centered on a large motif of two birds facing each other and holding between their beaks a brilliant-cut diamond in a closed setting. The bird in white gold (750) partly paved with brilliant-cut and eight-cut diamonds in a seed setting, the eye punctuated with a cabochon sapphire. The other in yellow gold (750) with a chased feather design, the tail and wing highlighted with small brilliant-cut and eight-cut diamonds in a seed setting and the eye dotted with a ruby cabochon. Their two wings decorated with carved red coral. Gross weight: 57.6 g. Scratches and small chip to the diamond, probable soldering to a beak. Coral (Corallium spp) (Corallidae spp) (NR). Specimen having undergone a mechanical destructuration by polishing, cutting, turning or faceting, dating from more than 50 years, not included in the Washington Convention (CITES) nor in the EC Regulation 338/97 of 09/12/1996, nor in the French Environment Code. The commercial use of this specimen is allowed in the EU because the material is not raw but worked in the form of jewelry. For a possible export, it will be up to the successful bidder to inquire - prior to any purchase of this lot containing coral - with the customs of the country concerned, particularly if it is the United States. For a departure from the EU, a CITES re-export will be necessary, this being at the expense of the future buyer.
