Lucie DELARUE MARDRUS (1874-1945) Autograph manuscript signed, Horizons, [1908]; 124 folio pages, hardback covered with white silk, smooth spine, slipcase. Complete manuscript of this poetic collection, published in 1905 by Eugène Fasquelle. The manuscript, carefully cleaned on the front of the leaves, was used for the printing. One notes some corrections, some (in particular to change the titles of some poems) of the hand of Dr. Mardrus, who copied the poems Nuptial, Amertume and La Vaillance, and who established the Table of the collection. The collection gathers 101 poems, and is divided into nine parts: Tendresses, Along gardens and water, Beasts, The Dream of a red evening, Death, ?, Phantasms, Of myself, The Departure.
