Published by the Nouvelle Librairie Nationale in 1920, this 6th series of Léon Daudet's "souvenirs of literary, political, artistic and medical circles" goes from 1904 to 1914; Daudet evokes his conversion to royalism and Catholicism, the birth of the Action Française, Maurras, the Camelots du roi, the Académie Goncourt, etc. The volume ends with the assassination of Gaston Calmette by Mme Caillaux. The manuscript, dated at the end of April 25, 1920, includes the nine chapters of the book; it presents erasures and corrections.
