Henri PICARD (1840-1890) Important mantelpiece in bronze with two brown and gilded patinas including : - a large terminal clock with a quadripod base decorated with gadroons on leafy feet, topped by a mother with child, leaning on two cushions. White enamel dial, indexes with Roman numerals painted in blue for the hours, Arabic numerals painted in black for the minutes. Bezel framed by two flower falls attached to a palmette. Mechanical movement with key winding. Suspension with Brocot. Plate stamped "RINGO Frères Paris" and numbered 1382. Small stamp signature "H. PICARD" on the back of the clock, with the number 5090. Height : 49 cm. - Width : 55 cm. - Depth : 25 cm. - A pair of candelabra formed of a putto carrying a bouquet of eight arms of light with acanthus leaves and garlands of flowers, on a tripod base, decorated in suite with the clock. The reverse of the pedestals numbered 3656. H. Height : 77 cm. - Width : 33 cm. Some garlands to refix, missing screws. Defects of cast iron; wear to the patinas and gilding, and spots of oxidation.
