Rectangular snuffbox with rounded corners in yellow gold (750), on a thin frame, with chased decoration on all sides of reserves with wavy guilloche alternating with lines of stylized ears of corn, in frames decorated with friezes of foliage and foliage bases or lines of diamonds and E-shaped motifs facing each other. Leaves cut out at the corners. Cover on hinge, molded. Goldsmith's hallmark: Nicolas HUGUET, received Master in 1787, second diamond-shaped hallmark. PARIS, punches of title (3rd) and of big Guarantee for 1809-1819 and of Test for 1798-1838 [head of bear]. Weight : 76.3 g. - 17.5 x 70.5 x 43 mm.
