The pilasters supported by consoles decorated with caryatids and floral garlands topped by sphinges, and topped by an eagle. The round white enamelled dial signed ROCQUET in Paris, with Roman numerals for the hours, underlined by a bronze drapery. Resting on a rectangular base with central projection decorated with a bas-relief frieze of putti and masks. Hanging on a wire. 18th century, end of the Louis XVI period. 62.5 x 44 x 11.5 cm. Three legs to be reattached and one posterior, one garland damaged with small lack; chips and splinters; no stamp.
