Eero Saarinen (1910-1961) Lot of 39 conference chairs. Model designed in 1957. Metal and wood structure, backrest and seat upholstered with dark gray and white Kvadrat fabric or gray fabric. Steel legs consisting of two trapezoidal frame uprights (some restored). Edition Knoll International. H. 84 cm - L. 65 cm - D. 51 cm. Various accidents, stains, holes, wear, rubbing and restorations. The majority of the armchairs have a small metal plate with a UNESCO inventory number on the back of the seat. This model was exclusively designed for the large conference room and some work spaces of UNESCO in Paris. Provenance: UNESCO, Paris.
