Pair of important porcelain vases in baluster with polychrome decoration of flowers and fruits on a background of arcatures and weaving in imitation of basketry in gilt on a burgundy background. Rich ormolu mounts such as neck rings, shoulders with scrolled grips and circular bases with openwork flutes, decorated with garlands of flowers. Not marked. Shoulders and bottoms pierced for the fixing of the grips and the bases. Second half of the 19th century H. 55 cm. One vase: defect at the base; damaged neck, badly glued, with missing parts; damaged ring. The other vase : cracked neck, bottom with star-shaped cracks ; old welds on the strapping.
