YOURCENAR Marguerite (1903-1987) [AF 1980, 3e f]. L.A.S., Petite Plaisance19 July 1974, to Daniel RIBET in Lille; 1 page and a half in-8 in green ink, with wolf vignette, envelope. She thanks him for his "excellent criticism made not only with a deep literary understanding, but also with the sympathy that comes from having been children in the same place. What a pity we did not meet in the woods of Mont-Noir; we would have played together. [...] Only one slight mistake: I am not only "French at heart", but also by passport, or rather, I was until the day in 1947 when I acquired American nationality" She hopes that the operation on Ribet's eyes was successful
