GHOUM (silk warp, weft and velvet), central Persia, circa 1930 Silk carpet decorated with a double central medallion polylobed blue and ivory, extended by two pendants on ivory background enhanced by an elegant stylized polychrome floral decoration. The whole composition is decorated with four pink spandrels with the same design. A navy blue border with polychrome flower garland is framed by twelve counter-borders. 202 x 310 cm.
