YEMEN, XXème siècle Jambiya dagger. Curved pointed blade with median edge. Brown horn spindle with studded decoration and two metal pellets. Wooden scabbard with a leather sheath on the back. Attached to a cloth belt lined with a frieze of stylized flowery scrolls in metal threads. Blade length : 19 cm - Total height : 34.5 cm - Belt length : 101 cm. Some accidents to the metallic embroidery, oxidations in particular to the blade, stains to the fabric, accidents to the roping and to the leather with missing parts. ATTACHED: Fabric belt lined with a frieze of black branches on a background of metallic threads. Length: 97 cm. Wear and accidents.
