Initials of the forger "K.X.S. in Solingen" inscribed on the heel. Brass crosspiece of square section ended by two balls. Probably handle of a court sword with squared ebony spindle studded with gilded copper rosettes and winged thunderbolt ferrule. Closed crown and oval pommel with a bearded man's head in a laurel wreath, reported. Blade length : 39.5 cm. Total length : 51.5 cm. Without scabbard. Oxidations, scratches and shocks.
