FRANC MACONNERIE, JAPON pour l'export, Nagasaki, période Edo, XIXème siècle Rectangular box in black lacquered wood with marquetry decorations inlaid with white or colored mother-of-pearl and gilding of polychrome flowers on five sides. Lid initially on hinges decorated with a cartouche with the columns of the Temple and Masonic attributes. Interior lined with gilded paper adventurine, and black oval reserve on the reverse of the lid. 7.5 x 31.9 x 16.7 cm. Without key. Bad condition, incomplete.
