NAIN, centre de la Perse, vers 1930-1950 The carpet is decorated with a central medallion polylobed navy blue, extended by two pendants on a red background enhanced by an elegant stylized floral decoration. The whole composition is decorated with four tobacco spandrels with the same design. A navy blue border with garlands of flowers surrounds the composition. Cotton warp and weft, wool velvet. 232 x 152 cm. Slight wear and discoloration.
