TEBRIZ, Nord-ouest de la Perse, vers 1930 The carpet is decorated with a polylobed mihrab surmounted by two columns and enhanced by two small medallions decorated with a landscape on an ivory background with stylised polychrome floral motifs. A red border with a garland of stylized flowers is framed by numerous counter-borders. Silk warp, weft and velvet. 200 x 132 cm. Slight wear, accident at one end, frayed and probably diminished.
