EUROPE, XVIIIème siècle A molded, gilded and carved wood mirror with a basket handle top, topped by a stretched motif decorated with a profile of Hermes with a winged helmet, and with a frame decorated with a frieze of pearls, fleurons, tyrses, flowers, and branches in appliques, and two chimeras leaning on fluted capitals. H. 170.5 cm - Width : 78.5 cm. Heavy wear, chips and gilding, cracks, many missing parts, especially the shoulders and the top motif.
