GABRIELLE KOURDADZÉ I saw you in your first role, it was a flower (Paris, line 2), 2021 Ink on paper 113 x 63 cm ATELIER #44 GABRIELLE KOURDADZÉ Born in 1995, Gabrielle Kourdadzé grew up in Paris in a French-Georgian family. This cultural mix and her twin-ness confronted her very early on with the question of identity. Graduating in 2019 from ENSAD (Paris), she pursues a work centered on drawing, developing a practice of ink line. Her current work plays on the superimposition of lines and materials, combining this technique with other tools such as colored pencil or woodcut. She is also a musician, and her drawings are conceived with a sound environment. Her studies at ENSAD have also allowed her to open up to scenography, illustration, photography, silk-screen printing and engraving.
